Maruti Suzuki is hyping up the launch of its upcoming premium hatchback, the new Baleno with teasers and information all over the internet. In their latest hype, the company has teased segment-first features that the facelifted Baleno will bring to the market. The Indian carmaker recently teased first in segment features such as heads-up display and now a new teaser confirms that the facelifted Baleno will come with a first-in-segment 360-degree parking camera. Apart from that, the new Baleno will offer six airbags – a feature that no other existing Maruti Suzuki cars provide. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift is likely to come with the same powertrains offered in the existing models. Expect the usual 1.2-liter petrol engine, paired with a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic transmission option. While the power output is likely to change slightly, the new Baleno is expected to return improved mileage. Upon its launch, the new Baleno will renew its rivalry against the likes of Tata Altroz and the Hyundai i20.
